ભારત દેશ, ગુજરાત રાજ્ય, આણંદ જીલ્લા ના વાલવોડા ગામે તા. 23-02-1975 ના જન્મ.
પરંપરાગત મધમીઠા કંઠ અને જીભ માટે વિખ્યાત ગઢવી (ચારણ) કુળમાં જન્મ. લોક માન્યતા અનુસાર કહેવાય છે કે ગઢવી (ચારણ) ની જીભે અને કંઠે વિધા અને સંગીત ના દેવી માં શારદા નો કાયમી વાસ હોય છે.
એક સર્વ સામાન્ય ગ્રામીણ બાળક ની જેમ ગામડાં માં જન્મ અને ઉછેર. બાલ્યકાળથી જ તે સમય ના સંગીતજ્ઞ ગાયકોના ગીતો સંભાડવા ગાવાનો ખુબજ શોખ.
ગામની સરકારી શાળામાં પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણ અને ભાદરણ ની હાઇસ્કૂલમાં હાયર સેકન્ડરી સ્કૂલનું શિક્ષણ મેળવ્યું. આણંદની એક કોલેજમાં એસ.વાય.બી.કોમ. સુધી આગળ અભ્યાસ ચાલુ રહ્યો. પરંતુ સંગીતનો જીવ તેના હ્રદયમાં સાધનારત સંગીત ને અન્ય સંગીતપ્રેમીઓ ના હ્રદયો સુધી વહેવડાવતા જંખતો હતો. તેને સંગીત ના સૂરોને અભિવ્યક્ત કરવા માટે યોગ્ય અવસરની અપેક્ષા અને ખોજ રહતી અને નવરાત્રી નો તહેવાર, શાળા કોલેજના ઉત્સવો, સામાજીક ધાર્મિક કાર્યક્રમો વી. ના સ્વરૂપે ક્યારેક આવા અવસર મળતા.
આસપાસના સંયોગો કોમર્સનું શિક્ષણ પૂરું કરવા માટે મારા પર સતત દબાણ કરતાં હતા. પરંતુ અંદર નો એક ગાયક એક જુદાજ સ્વપ્ન અને કલ્પનાઓનો આનંદ લેવામાં વધુ વ્યસ્ત રહતો હતો. એવું લાગ્યા કરતું કે જાણે કોમર્સનો અભ્યાસ અને કીર્તીદાન ક્યારે પણ અન્યોન્ય માટે સર્જાયા નહોતા. મારા મોટા ભાઈને જ્યારે એ સમજાયું કે કોમર્સનો અભ્યાસ કોઈ પણ સ્તરે માફક આવે તેમ નહોતું લાગતું ત્યારે મને ભારે હાશકારો થયો. કોમર્સના અભ્યાસના બદલે વહેલી તકે સંગીત ના અભ્યાસમાં સંલગ્ન થઈ જવું જ ઉચિત છે તેવા મારા વિચાર સાથે તેઓ સંમત થયા. આ પ્રકારે તમામ બાહ્ય સંજોગો અને આંતદ્વાદોને પરાસ્ત કરીને એક ગાયક વિજયી થયો.
આ રીતે મહારાજા સયાજીરાવ યુનિવર્સિટિ, વડોદરા ખાતે માસ્ટર ઓફ પરફોર્મિંગ આર્ટ્સ અંતર્ગત પાંચ વર્ષની અવધીના સંગીતના અભ્યાસક્રમ નો પ્રારંભ થયો. આ પાંચ વર્ષનો ગાળો જીવનનો એક અવિસ્મરણીય તબક્કો રહ્યો. એક વિધાર્થીને શાસ્ત્રીય સંગીતને તેની આંતર બહાય કલાત્મક સાથે આત્મસાત કરવાનો અવસર મળ્યો. જ્યારે એક ગાયક કલાકારને પ્રસંગોપાત તેની ગાયકીની અભિવ્યક્તિ થકી આનંદે સાથે થોડી-ઘણી ખિસ્સા ખર્ચી મેળવવાનો અવસર પણ મળ્યો.
પાંચ વર્ષના અભ્યાસની સફળ સંપન્નતા સાથે મહારાજા સયાજીરાવ યુનિવર્સિટિ, વડોદરા તરફથી માસ્ટર ઓફ પરફોર્મિંગ આર્ટ્સની પદવી એનાયત કરવામાં આવી.
એમ.વી.એ. ની પદવી કેવળ એક અતિ મહત્વપૂર્ણ, દ્રઢ અને ઉપયોગી પગથયુ હતું, તે કોઈ ગન્તવ્ય સ્થાન ન હતું, શ્રી ધોળકિયા કોલેજ ઓફ મ્યુજિક શિહોર દ્વારા મારી એક પ્રોફેસર તરીકે નિમૂણૂકે મને એક નિરાંત નો શ્વાસ લેવાનો આનંદઆવ્યો.
એક ગાયક કલાકારે અવસ્થિત થવા માટે તેના શ્રોતાઓના હ્રદયમાં પહોચવાનું હોય છે. સંઘર્ષના સમયમાં મારે બે મહત્વના પાત્રો નિભાવના હતા. એક પ્રોફેસર તરીકે વિધાર્થીઓને સંગીતનું શિક્ષણ આપવાનું અને બીજું પાત્ર એક નવોદિત ગાયક કલાકાર નું બીજા પાત્ર માટે પ્રસંગોપાત પ્રતિકૂળતાઑ વચ્ચે વ્યાપક અને કઠણ મુસાફરી કરવાની થતી. સંકલ્પ દ્રઢ હતો. ગમે તેમ પણ શ્રોતાઓ વચ્ચે પહોચવાનું અનિવાર્ય હતું.
આવી અને સંલગ્ન એવી અનેક અઘરી કસોટીઓ વચ્ચે સ્વસ્થ ટકી રહેવા, માર્ગ સુજાડવા, ઉત્સાહ અને ઉર્જા પુરવા તમામે તમામના આશીર્વાદ વરસવા અત્યંત અનિવાર્ય હોય છે. જગદીશ અને જગદંબાની કરુણા, માતા પિતા, ગુરૂજનો અને વડીલો ના આશિષ, અગણિત ચાહકો શ્રોતાઓના સ્વીકાર, સમર્થન અને સ્નેહ અને સંબંધિત લોકો ના સહકારના પરિણામે જ હું આ સંઘર્ષકાળમાં સ્વસ્થ અને ઉર્જાસભર રહી શકયો છું.
પરમ કૃપાળુ માં પાર્વતિ પરમેશ્વર સહિત, માતા પિતા, ગુરૂજનો, વડીલો, કુટુંબના તમામ સભ્યો, પ્રિય કવીજનો અને પૂજયચરણ સંતો, આ સર્વેના મારા પ્રત્યેના સહજ અહેતુક અને અવાર સ્નેહ અને પ્રેમ માટે કૃત્જ્ઞતાનો ભાવ અનુભવું છું.
તમામ સહ કલાકારો, સહ ગાયકો અને આયોજકો અને સહકારી વ્યક્તિઓ પ્રત્યે આભારની લાગણી ધરાવું છું.
મારા સર્વે શ્રોતાઓ, ચાહકો, સ્નેહીઓ અને સમર્થકો કે જેઓ મને મારા સંગીતને ખરા હ્રદયથી સદાય પ્રતિસાદ અને આવકાર આપતા આવ્યા છે તે સર્વેના અપાર સ્નેહ માટે કૃતજ્ઞ છું.
પ્રમાણિક પણે સમજતા આપ સર્વેના પ્રેમ સ્નેહ થકી જ "કીર્તીદાન", આપનો સૌનો "કીર્તીદાન" છે.
જીવન ઊર્જાના ઉદગમ એવા ભાવકેન્દ્રિત ફરતે આ જીવન સદાય સુસંવાદીતા સાથે પ્રશન્ન પૂર્વક ફરતું રહે.

Born and brought up like a common village child. From the very childhood loved to sing and listen to the songs of the accomplished singers of the time.
Acquired primary education from the public school of the village and higher secondary school education in Bhadaran. Continued further study up to S.Y.B.COM at Anand. The singer within was always earnest to relay the music brewing within and looked forward for every opportunity to lot it be expressed. Opportunities come by in the form of navratri festival, school or college events, socio-religious programmes etc.
The circumstances around me were pushing me hard towards completing my study in commerce, but the singer within was savouring other dreams and ideas at was fell as if the study of commerce and kirtidan were never made for each other. To my great relief my elder brother, however, realized that i hardly felt to be at any level of comfort while studying the commerce. He agreed with my idea of promptly switching over to studying music in place of commerce. Thus the singer within emerged victorious beating all the circumstances outside and the dualities within.
Thus began the study of music in the five years MPA course at the maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara. The years at the M.S.U. are especially memorable because of the dual relishment the student within relished to learn the nuances of classical music while the artist enjoyed performing as a singer and earning some pocket money in the process!!!
The successful completion of the five years of study resulted in the award of the degree M.P.A.(The Master of Performing Arts).
The MPA degree was just a mile stone and not the destination. A huge sign of relief was felt an being appointed as a professor at the Dholakia College of music- SHIHOR.
A professional singer needs to be established in the hearts of his audience. During the period of such straggle i was playing two roles. One of them was teaching the music. The Second one being of an emerging artist, this included extensive travelling to deliver performances to the music lovers. This indeed required the blessings of one and all. It was due to the grace of God, the blessings of my parents, teacher and elders, the love and support of my audience fans and cooperation of all the related people that i could stay fit and energised during the years of struggle.
Ever in gratitude to the lord almighly, parents, teachers, elders, all the member of the family, beloved poets and rev. saints.
Shall ever be thankful to all my co-artists, co-performers, organizers and above all, all my listeners, lovers, fans and audiences who have been responding to me and my singing wholeheartedly, without all these, to be honest, this relishment of singing would not have happened.
May the life continue to revolve harmoniously around the centre which is the Source of all life energy.
